Q. He compares it (iPad mini) to the iPad 2 and not the iPad 3, why?!
A. Because the iPad 2's resolution is 1024 x 768 and the iPad mini is
same. However the iPad 3 is retina with a resolution of 2048x1536. So, the iPad mini is recycled left over parts, invented as a means to cash grab from it's customers.
The processor on the iPad mini is the same as the iPad2, the A5, and
the iPad 3 A5X.. again.. old spare parts used to create the mini from
obsolete tech to recycle and take your hard earned money.
At
least the camera (front and back) and video capture on the iPad mini is
newer. So they upgraded some aspects of this device.. but not the
important parts. CPU, GPU and Resolution.
Phil's selling point
and I quote "The technology in the iPad mini is equal to or better than
the iPad 2" -- Uh.. the iPad 2 is a year and change old Phil... And
the lemmings in the audience clap at this.. wtf.. Applelites (Apple
Fanatics) are so damn stupid, it's ridiculous.
Lastly, it's "new innovative design" is basically ripping off Samsung's mobile devices..

What he doesn't tell you is that the Nexus 7 (8GB) starts at $199, and
the iPad mini (16GB) starts at... $329. However, the 16GB Nexus 7 sells
for $249.. still under the iPad mini's $329.
What Phil
strategically avoids telling the lemmings in the audience is that the
Nexus 7 has a higher resolution, higher pixel front faced camera, a
better and more powerful CPU, a micro USB connector (universal), Android
Beam, Magnetometer, Gyroscope and all that for LESS MONEY.
